2nd bridal shower and 1st dress fitting

This weekend my family threw me another bridal shower. Everyone had an amazing time. The party went off without a hitch. I know my sister was going crazy to make sure that every detail was perfect. Thank you for all your hard effort Jen, and all of my family who helped! The day was perfect and we got sooooo many amazing gifts. We officially have no more room in the apartment to fit anything else..not to mention that I haven't moved any of my things in yet! We're in trouble! hahaha.

I also had my first dress fitting. Luckily I still fit my dress! All that really needs to be done to it is shorten it. Amazingly enough, it doesn't even look like its that long on me either. I was shocked at how little it had to be taken up (seeing how I'm technically not even 5ft). Now all I have to do is work on toning up a little, I would prefer to loose 10 pounds too, but we'll see how that works out. I've wanted to do that since we got engaged over a year ago and it hasn't happened yet. Pathetic...I know!

Dresses

Last night I tried on my wedding dress again for the first time in almost a year. Thankfully it still fits. I am so in love with my dress!! I do have to tone up a little bit and loose some weight because it was definetely more snug than it was when I first bought it. After that my Mom, Sister, Sister-in-law, my brothers girlfriend Laurie and I all went to Davids Bridal. They all still had to pick out their dresses for the wedding. They all still needed to get dresses for the wedding. They were all making me very nervous since the date is fast approaching!

She's my matron of honor so I said it was ok for her to get a long length dress. All the other girls have knee length dresses.

Life right now..and wedding updates

Life has been a little crazy lately. I've been working a ton and a lot has been going on. My brother's baby was born 2 month prematurly so my whole family has been concerned about him. He's doing really well though and if all goes well he'll be able to come in about a month. We snuck in and decorated the baby's room for them. They obviously weren't planning on Noah being born yet and we figured we'd help out.
My brother lives right by David's Bridal here in Rochester, so while we were right there we picked up Emily's bridesmaid dress she had ordered and we also bought my niece her flower girl dress. The flower girl dress matches mine almost exactly...it is so adorable on her! When I picked up Emily's dress it was the first time that I had seen the "rose petal" pink color in person, not just on-line, and I LOVE IT!!!!! I'm going to wait to pick out shoes for the girls until we pick out the color of the tuxedo vests so that we can try and get an exact match of the silver color. My mom and I are meeting with a florist on thursday, so we'll see how that goes. Theres at least 4 different florists I want to meet with though. Im thinking that I really want to go with all roses for flowers since Rose is my middle name. I'll probably make another post after we meet with the first florist.

Shopping

Emily and I went dress shopping for her bridesmaid dress. She ordered hers and it looks great on her! Here's a link to the style she picked Style 8933Shown in Rose Petal.
