Just a Quick Reminder...

Just wanted to remind everyone that invitations are out and to make sure to send them in by June 8th. We hope everyone can come!

Also wanted to give a heads up to all the guys... the Bachelor Party is June 6th. Make sure to RSVP to Andy.

Invitations have been sent out!

Keep an eye on your mailbox. We just sent out our invitations at the post office about an hour ago. Everyone should get them in the next day or two. Hope everyone can make it for our big day!

2 more months & Invitations!!

Today is exactly 2 months until the wedding!! I am very excited about this. Time has flown by lately, but I still felt like it's taken a long time to get here! Next week is my last Bridal Shower. My family is hosting this one. I can't wait!

We finished putting all of the invitations together in the envelopes today. This task took a lot longer that I thought it would! We spent a little over an hour last night and about 3 hours tonight to do this. Look for them in the mail by the end of this week. The apartment was a total disaster because we had everything all spread out while we were working on the invitations.

My Mom came over to help and had to take a picture (not the best one of me). If I look a little annoyed it's because I was getting sick of putting the invitations together at this point. It was all worth it in the end though. Thanks Mom for helping!!

This is what the final product looks like! This is one my most favorite things about the wedding so far. I LOVE how they look.

1st Bridal Shower

Today was our first bridal shower. Matt's Aunt Cindy, Cousin Alyssa and Sister Emily threw me a bridal shower for their side of the family. We had a lot of fun! We played Bridal Taboo (my team kicked butt with this game thanks to me!) and we made toilet paper brides. After having delicious appetizers and playing fun games I got to open lots of gifts! We now have a full set of our everyday dishes, Tupperware, a waffle maker, a convection oven, a pitcher and matching glasses, etc... You get the idea! We received a lot of very thoughtful gifts. We really appreciate everyone who came and everything they gave us. Thank you especially to Emily, Cindy, and Alyssa for throwing and hosting the shower! I had so much fun. The next shower will be May 2 that my mom and sister are throwing for me. I don't know how we can possibly fit anything else in the apartment! Right now we have everything just piled in the corner. I won't let Matt use any of it until after the wedding.

In other news we finished assembling our invitations. They look amazing! Look for them in the mail in the next 2 weeks or so.

Invitations etc...

We finally decided on our invitations. Its early to order them but we're getting a really good deal. Jenn's (Andy's girlfriend) parents have a print shop and can order them for us through a wholesaler. They're giving us the invitation at cost so we're saving a lot of money. I am so greatful for that! We also decided to go with Wegmans for our flowers. I'll have to meet with them one more time to get more prices since I changed my mind on some things since the last time I met with them. The only things we have left to do is choose a cake baker and pick out the tuxedos! We're almost there!!!
