Sold My Futon

So today was a pretty big day. I sold my futon. I had bought my futon prior to my junior year of college at UB. This futon was my bed when I lived in the shithole of an apartment I had on Minnesota Street in Buffalo. When my senior year came around and I moved back on campus to the South Lake Village, I didn't really need the futon because it was furnished. My roomates and I found space on for it, in our living room.

Finally once I moved here, 3 years ago it became a part of my living room. The futon was always great when I had parties because it was always an extra couch for people to sit at and then people had somewhere to sleep on so that they wouldn't have to worry about driving home (I never let people drive home after a crazy night of drinking).

Now, that we are getting an apartment together, it became the piece of furniture without a place. I decided that it would be a good way to start my new life by selling it. By selling it, it represents the move from being a bachelor to my new life with the love of my life, Kaitlyn. Since putting it up on Craiglist, I have done a lot of thinking about how much my life has changed since I had bought it originally. I am looking forward to this new chapter in my life.
